Traits.

The most noticeable trait Raeh has are his Seeker pupils, a source of strife in his life that he has chosen to cover beneath the darkness of a replica visor acquired on one of his trade deals. His eyes also have an unusual flux of aether that routes straight into his iris, causing what would be teal to shine aquamarine - a trait further highlighting his difference as a Keeper of the Moon. His mother always told him as a child that the elementals bestowed him a gift, but her message eventually became twisted by the Clan and he was told it was a sign of curse and ill fortune from the forests. Despite this, he can hear the whispers of the elementals which help guide his actions when dealing with the Shroud.Raeh harbors a long burn scar across the bridge of his nose which is from a traditional practice within his direct family/Kohli lineage. Beneath his clothes, he has a tribal tattoo.

Personality.

Raeh is what one would expect from a wolf; charismatic yet ruthless. He likes to challenge those around him, is fairly grounded mentally, and imbued with a sense of personal justice. He is a tactful thinker who keeps his pack of kin in line with a calm, but ruthless sense of order. He can be boyish and a bit of a jokester to maintain an ease among those he values. However, he can also seem a bit headstrong and testy to outsiders who do not share the same values as him. Overall, he has a pretty laid back attitude about him when it comes to interaction outside of his clan.His demeanor inside his clan and to his family is very guarded, distrustful and watchful because he is not yet in a position to oppose the higher members without severe repercussions. His words and actions are extremely formal and detached - he has been described as a completely different person within those walls.He is Chaotic Good, which means he acts as his 'conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society' (easydamus.com).

Background.

Ability (OC Lore)

Raeh has an affinity towards teleportation magicks, plainly - the ability to manipulate aether for teleportation purposes. This is due to the influx of aether he is able to channel (represented by the glow of his irises) and through a aetheryte shard embedded into his primary weapon; his kukri, as well as his anima affinity. It's not an ability used on a normal basis due to the toll it takes on his body and it's not uncommon to see him being dragged away by his Keeper brothers in exhaustion after a good use of it. He cannot teleport other living beings, only him and whatever is on his person.Short bursts are the extent of his use of teleportation. Anything greater and he'll knock himself unconscious - causing trauma to his brain and body. Raeh using this ability is his greatest strength but also his greatest weakness. Speed and surprise are to his benefit, however it can easily be negated by weapon and movement predictability.

Kohli Shroud Wolves (OC Lore).

The Kohli Shroud Wolves are a part of a traditional Keeper of the Moon clan. It is currently made up of a ruling Matriarch and her direct offspring. The Matriarchs and females of the combined Keeper clan are held in the highest regard and are the overseers of both the clan and the rituals of the Wolves. The Shroud Wolves patrol a large majority of the Black Shroud, working beneath the noses of Gridania and the Adder authority. The Clan sustains itself on the land and through the Wolves illegal trade.——————WOLF RITUALS.The wife or current head Matriarch of the Keeper Clan are the ones that govern the right of passage and ascension into the Shroud Wolf ranks by burning an "X" on the bridge of the Kohli's sons noses and a solid line across lower ranking members. It is a sign of Clan acceptance of new leadership into the Shroud Wolves.——————FACTIONS.Each faction is led by a direct descendant of the Kohli line. Under its leader(s) are a small group of Keeper men (and occasionally women) that make up the bulk of the faction. NPC-wise, there are no non-Keepers in the poaching and trade, especially in the Red and Black Kohli Factions. The Silver Faction, under Raeh’a, breaks this rule without the Clan or Head Kohli’s awareness, as he prides himself on cohesiveness and broadening connections regardless of one's race. This also allows him to have trustworthy eyes everywhere he needs them. Each Faction is also assigned a specific "job" and take on a specific role, generally in the smuggling, poaching, trafficking, drug trade, etc...——————NOCTURNAL.The Clan and the Wolves operate primarily at night and are nocturnal as most Keepers tend to be.——————OTHER.The main idea behind the Clan and the Wolves as they currently are is to portray them in an incredibly negative light. Most of its members are generally intolerant to those who do not uphold traditional values and tend to sneer at other peoples and Gridania, wanting nothing to do with them. The other families of the Clan however, are too afraid to go against the upper Matriarchs due to repercussion, and are unable to leave. Raeh’a is currently working to undermine and overthrow them and wipe out their purist way of thinking so they can move the clan into a new better age.>> The Clan and Wolves are not required in an RP setting but do play a huge role in how Raeh was raised and how he holds and dictates his actions.
